Exhibition News

There’s only a few days to go before the exhibtion I’m involved in will be opening. Here’s what our invites look like:

There’s eleven artists involved, and they are myself and the following talented artisits:

Alwyn Bowyer, Elaine Campbell, Marion Douglas, Di Flint, Helen Forrest, Daphne McKinon, Cynthia Morgan, Joan Morrison, Susan Pietsch, Fran Robinson.

The theme, Nature as Designer, has really got the artist’s creative juices flowing, and I just love what these talented ladies have come up with.

If you can make it to the exhibition, do please come along, you won’t be disappointed, the work on display is fantastic and of a very high standard. There is a wonderful blend of different styles, and there are quilts, embroideries, felting, sculptures and more. So mark your diaries –

Gradon Gallery, 29 Merthyr Road, New Farm (Brisbane, Qld)

December 7th to 19th

Opening hours mon – sat 10am to 6pm, sunday 11am to 5pm.

If you can’t afford to buy big, there is plenty of small stuff on sale as well, so if you need ideas for christmas gifts, or want some beautiful cards featuring artwork on display, then bring your spending money. There’s a really good coffee shop up the road, too that I’m planning on trying out next week on set up day.

I have a range of little miniature artworks for sale, they are very tiny and very cute, all originals. Alwyn has some beautiful brooches for sale, and there are also bookmarks and other interesting items too.

So hopefully, I have talked all you S.E.Q.er’s into coming along for a lovely day out…..
