Tulips

I decided to dust off the watercolour paints and have a go at painting some tulips. So I drew myself a little bunch of tulips, and this is what happened:

But then I decided that I didn’t like that, too amateurish. So I dug out some books with tulip pictures in and did some practice runs:

then came up with this:

Definitely an improvement! It was really nice to use the watercolours again, and I would like to get them out a bit more often in the future.
