Finally, after a full year of painting these two pieces in a Hollis Chatelain workshop, I have quilted and finished them!
The top one is a Varied Eggfly, not a particularly thrilling name for a butterfly, but nonetheless, he is a lovely specimen. That piece photographs particularly well, too, not sure why.
The bottom image, a portrait of my daughter, I feel is not quite perfect in the paint job, but as a workshop piece I did learn a great deal, and it was interesting doing contour quilting on her face.
