It is very exciting to report that I have made it as a finalist in two fine art competitions, both being run through the Caloundra Regional Art Gallery. The first is the Local Artist, Local Content prize, for which the artist must be a resident within the Sunshine Coast area and the artwork reflecting this. I entered a framed embroidery for this one.

The second competition is the Holmes Art Prize for excellence realistic Australian bird life, for which you can see all the finalists here. This entry is a small quilt and I am quite honoured to have it selected, as it is sitting beside some very accomplished work of realistic bird art.
