About
I am an artist, birdwatcher, lover of flowers and all of nature. I live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia – a wonderful area with beaches, bush, wallum and mountains.
My mission is to depict what I see around me in a realistic way. For me it is a joy and a challenge to use textiles as a medium, with the ability to build layers to create my artwork. I also enjoy using pencils, giving me a medium that is controlled and I can achieve high detail with. In some ways, the approach with both mediums is similar. I hope my artwork brings as much joy to others as it does to me.
