I wasn’t lucky enough to go to the show this year, but 2 of my quilts flew down for the event. But lucky for us, the Guild has pictures on their webpage for us to view. I was busy checking out the wonderful work there, some fantastic quilts, especially best of show, it is spectacular.
Anyway, lo and behold, I found my name down the bottom of the pictorial page, my quilt was awarded a judges commendation!!! I feel quite chuffed now, because competition there is pretty fierce amongst Australia’s best quilters. Now I’m almost one of them!!! There’s no picture of the quilt on the Guild website, but it’s been on here before.
Now, what to make to enter next year………
