I have finished teaching the Chinese Dragon workshops and was very proud and impressed by the results of my students, they did a fantastic job! It wasn’t easy for them because we didn’t have enough time and they had to finish off at home with a list of instructions, but, being seasoned quilters, they knew what to do. Here’s their results:
This one is Del’s Earth Dragon. I love her rich colours and dramatic border.
The next one is Lillian’s Water Dragon. It didn’t photograph so well, but she did a fantastic job on the wild and dramatic ocean and found the most marvellous gold thread to couch down his spine.
And lastly, Shirley’s that has a very innovative and successful colour scheme. She added eyelashes to her dragon, something I didn’t think of doing!
