This is my latest embroidery, mounted on a canvas. It’s called “The Wet Season” and was free motion embroidered with lots of different and delicious threads onto a piece of sun-painted fabric, I think also with some salt thrown on (it’s been in the cupboard for a while!) Anyway, it has proved to be a well liked piece as it has already gone to a new home! I like it’s wild and weedy feel, a little neglected and overgrown corner somewhere by a roadside in a country lane. Everything gets a bit overgrown here in Qld in the Wet Season!
